Clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

CIASA believes that every child deserves clean water. Our community-based approach gives us deep roots in the community. CIASA has been working in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in the last 5 years, starting in 2017 primarily with small water projects in individual communities. The ultimate goal of all of CIASAs work is women and child well-being. Women-child well-being at CIASA’s is defined by the following four targets:

  • Women-Children enjoy good health.
  • Women-Children are educated for life.
  • Women-Children experience the love of God and their neighbors
  • Women-Children are cared for, protected and participating.

CIASA believes that sustainable well-being is impossible without sustainable, equitable access to clean water, dignified sanitation and appropriate hygiene behaviors.
